Hahnemühle ZigZag Concertina Watercolour Books feature 18 pages of 300gsm white watercolour paper in an accordion-style fold-out format. Work on individual pages or extend your artwork across the folds to create a continuous composition.

The fine-grain, semi-smooth surface is suitable for watercolour, gouache and sketching materials. Use it for colour studies, illustrated stories or panoramic landscapes, exploring how separate scenes connect as you unfold the book.

The paper is acid-free and pH neutral, with clean-cut edges. A hardback cover protects the folded paper between sessions, keeping your developing artwork together in a compact book.

Choose from A5 portrait, 14 × 14cm square or 5 × 5cm square. A5 offers a portrait format, while the two square sizes provide alternatives for smaller studies and miniature artwork.

• 18 fold-out pages of 300gsm white watercolour paper.
• Concertina format for individual studies or continuous artwork across the folds.
• Fine-grain, semi-smooth surface for watercolour, gouache and sketching.
• Acid-free and pH neutral, with clean-cut edges and a protective hardback cover.
• Available in A5 portrait, 14 × 14cm and 5 × 5cm.

We recommend that this pad is perfect for most watercolour techniques and works especially well with gouache & pastels. Because it is 300gsm it is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any wet medium, however pastels and sketching materials will also work on this surface.
