Khadi Papers Concertina Card Packs are made with Khadi handmade paper from their mill in India. It is 100% long fibred cotton rag which provides a strong and durable paper that can last years without deterioration. These rag papers are the only handmade papers in India made with neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free as well as lignin and sulphur free. Additionally, is has a gelatine size (externally) after the paper is made which will highly reduce or eliminate bleeding from ink and paint. It has a weight of 210gsm which can be used for watercolour and inks. This paper is off-white in colour and comes in a medium texture.

The Khadi Paper Concertina Card Packs have a deckle edge all the way round, providing a unique look to these packs. The pack contains 5 individual concertina cards. There are 5 pages with 4 folds on each card giving you 10 sides to work on. Each individual concertina card can be opened easily but once folded it provides an even square shape. 

We recommend that this card pack is perfect for mixed-media but works especially well with watercolour and inks. Because it is 210gsm it is a thick weight that can easily take on water-based techniques and can easily handle a light wash as well as dry art techniques such as pencil and charcoal.
