Yupo Paper is a fairly new addition to the world of art paper. It is a non-porous, acid-free and pH neutral synthetic paper. It is ultra smooth in finish and is tear resistant to protect it against the harshest of techniques. The paper is designed for use with Alcohol Inks & Watercolours and has a number of characteristics allowing it to excel in these areas. Due to its chemical make up it resists buckling even with a large amount of water, additionally it is completely waterproof and stain-resistant, meaning unwanted colours can be effortlessly lifted from its surface. 

Each page is 85gsm which can be used for Alcohol Inks & Watercolours. Frisk is a U.K. based company and this pad was made in the U.K. It is also 100% recyclable when done with. The Yupo Paper Pad is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. One other benefit of using Yupo Paper is that any wet media on its surface can be wiped off leaving a clean surface underneath. This pad comes with 25 individual sheets and is available in A3, A4 & A5 sizes.

We recommend this paper for use with Watercolours & Alcohol Inks primarily as its ultra-smooth, non-porous surface allows for excellent lifting and wiping properties. The paper is extremely strong despite its slightly lower weight and is resistant to buckling, breaking and tearing when in use. It is a fantastic surface that can be used to produce extremely unique effects, especially when used with Alcohol inks which excel on this surface.
