The Daler Rowney Smooth Cartridge Pad consists of fine grain fibres designed to be used with a variety of techniques. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free and long-lasting. The paper has a smooth finish, giving the artist a clean work surface for fine detail works.  Available in one weight at 130gsm.

Daler Rowney Smooth Cartridge Paper is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. A high quality, acid-free, cartridge paper that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper is designed to be used with Graphite, Charcoal and pens. Available in A2, A3, A4 & A5 sizing the pad contains 30 individual sheets of paper. 

We recommend that this paper is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with charcoal and graphite. It is a mid weight paper and wouldn't take watercolour or any other similar wet technique too well and the paper may buckle. We would suggest any dry medium, however pastels, charcoal and other sketching materials will work best on this surface. Pens, brush pens and markers may also be suitable for use in this pad.
