Seawhite Black Paper Pads contain 50 sheets of 140gsm, acid-free black paper for pastels, pens, markers and white drawing media. The dark surface provides a contrasting background for exploring highlights and colour, whether you are building a pastel study or drawing with white media.

The semi-smooth surface has a slight texture, while clean-cut edges give each sheet a neat finish. Choose A4 or A3 to suit your working scale.

• 50 sheets per pad
• 140gsm black paper
• Semi-smooth surface with a slight texture
• Acid-free and pH neutral
• Suitable for pastels, pens, markers and white media
• Cut edges
• Available in A4 and A3

We recommend that this paper is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with pastels and pens. It is a mid weight paper and wouldn't take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper would easily buckle. We would suggest any dry medium, however pastels, charcoal and other sketching materials will work best on this surface.
