Hahnemühle Nostalgie Hardback Sketchbooks contain 80 pages of smooth, white 190gsm paper in a grey linen-covered hardback. The substantial paper provides a surface for detailed drawings, ink studies and creative sketching, keeping your developing work together in one book.

The smooth surface is suitable for ink, fountain pens and acrylic markers. Use it to explore fine lines, expressive marks and illustrated compositions, working on a single page or across a complete spread.

The section-stitched binding allows the book to open flat, making it easier to draw across the centre fold. A red ribbon page marker helps you return to your latest work, while the hardback cover protects the pages between sessions.

The paper is acid-free, pH neutral and vegan, with clean-cut edges. The range includes A6, A5 and A4 sizes and portrait and landscape formats, giving you a choice of working scale and page orientation.

We recommend that this sketchbook is perfect for mixed-media but works especially well with pens, ink and acrylic markers. Because it is 190gsm it is a thick enough weight that can easily take on a light wash or water-based techniques such as fountain pens.
