Clairefontaine Ivory Spiral Sketch Pads contain 100 pages of 90gsm ivory paper for drawing and sketching. The warm ivory background offers an alternative to bright white paper, with a smooth surface and slight texture for pencil, charcoal and felt-tip work.

Use these pads for everyday sketches, observational studies and developing drawing ideas. The paper retains pigments well, allowing you to explore linework and shading against its ivory tone.

The flip-top spiral binding allows the pad to open flat, while a cardboard backing supports the paper as you work. Pages have a perforated edge for neat removal, making it easy to separate individual drawings from the pad.

Made at the Clairefontaine mill in Meurthe, France, the paper uses long, natural, unbleached virgin fibres. It is acid-free and pH neutral, as well as PEFC certified, recyclable and biodegradable. Choose A5 for smaller studies or A4 for more drawing space.

• 100 pages of 90gsm ivory paper, available in A5 and A4.
• Smooth surface with a slight texture, suitable for pencil, charcoal and felt-tip pens.
• Flip-top spiral binding that opens flat, with perforated pages for neat removal.
• Acid-free and pH neutral, with a paperback cover and supportive cardboard backing.
• Made in France using natural, unbleached virgin fibres; PEFC-certified, recyclable and biodegradable paper.

We recommend that this pad is perfect for mixed-media but works especially well with charcoal and felt-tips. Because it is 90gsm it is a thin weight and can easily be used for dry art techniques, some wet techniques can be used but we would suggest using a thicker paper.
