Hahnemühle Ingres Pastel Pads contain 9 different coloured sheets and are designed to be used with pastels and other sketching materials primarily. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free as well as having no animal products in their make-up making them 100% Vegan Friendly. The paper has a textured finish giving the surface a good amount of texture. Available in one weight at 100gsm.

Hahnemühle Ingres Pastel Pads are deckle-edge which provides a rough edge to the paper. A high quality, acid-free, pad that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper is designed to be used with Pencils & Pastels, perfect for life drawing, portrait or landscape studies. 

The pad is available in 24x31cm (9x12 Inch) or 30x40cm (12x16 Inch) sizing and contains 20 individual sheets. The pads are available in a glued bind, both variants also feature a softcover to make it easier when tearing sheets out. 

We recommend that this paper is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with pastels and pencils. It is a very lightweight paper and will not take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper will break. That being said, it can be used with oil and soft pastels. We would suggest any dry medium, however pens, pencils, charcoal and other sketching materials will work best on this surface.
