Details

The Winsor & Newton Pastel Pad is a premium 160 gsm (75 lb) paper pad designed specifically for pastels, charcoal, and graphite. Available in A4 and A3 sizes, each pad contains 24 sheets featuring a dual-sided surface: a grained tooth on one side for maximum pigment grip and a smoother finish on the reverse for fine details.

To enhance depth and contrast, the pads are available in pre-curated Earth or Grey assorted color palettes. The paper is 100% acid-free, lightfast, and crafted from FSC-certified pulp using hydroelectric power, ensuring a durable and eco-friendly foundation for your artwork.

Our Rating

This pastel paper delivers exceptional strength and permanence due to its high cotton content. The sized, fine-grain surface is ideal for holding pastel pigment from both oil and soft pastels. Pastel Paper is most recommended for use with oil and soft pastels, but can also be used with charcoal, coloured pencils, pen and any mediums that emphasise shading and highlighting techniques.
