Daler Rowney Earthbound Sketchbooks contain smooth fine grain fibres designed to be used with pens, pencils and other sketching materials primarily. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. The paper has a semi smooth cartridge finish giving the surface a very slight amount of texture and an almost gritty finish. Available in one weight at 100gsm.

Daler Rowney Earthbound Sketchbooks are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. A high quality, acid-free, cartridge pad that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper is designed to be used with Pencils and Pens, perfect for life drawing, portrait or landscape studies. The colour of the paper is a toned tan that is slightly specked to add texture and depth. 

The pad is available in A3, A4 & A5 sizing and contains 80 individual sheets. The pads are available in both a spiral bind and a stitched bind, both variants also feature a hardcover to protect your artwork. 

We recommend that this paper is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with pens and pencils. It is a light weight paper and will not take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper will break or buckle. That being said, it can be used with light watercolour works and pastels. We would suggest any dry medium, however pens, pencils, charcoal and other sketching materials will work best on this surface.
