Hahnemühle Nostalgie Sketch Pads contain 50 sheets of 190gsm, acid-free and wood-free paper with a smooth, consistent surface for drawing and sketching. Suitable for pencil, charcoal, pastel and pen, the paper offers a substantial surface for both quick studies and more detailed work.

The smooth finish makes these pads a useful choice for exploring fine lines, controlled shading and expressive marks. Use them for observational sketches, portrait studies or developing ideas, moving between different drawing media within the same pad.

A glued top-edge binding allows sheets to be removed individually, while the traditional, vintage-inspired cover gives the pad its distinctive appearance. Choose A5 for smaller sketches or A4 when you want more room for your composition.

We recommend that this paper is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with pens and pencils. It is a mid weight paper and may not take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper could potentially buckle. That being said, it can be used with light watercolour works and inks. We would suggest any dry medium, however pens, pencils, charcoal and other sketching materials will work best on this surface.
