Details

Strathmore 300 Series Vellum Bristol Board pads are constructed with a convenient top tape-bound design, allowing for clean and easy sheet removal without any tearing. Available in both 9 x 12 inch and 11 x 14 inch dimensions, each pad contains 20 sheets of heavyweight, multi-ply 100 lb (270 g/m²) paper. This configuration provides a rigid, sturdy surface that stays flat during use and completely eliminates the need for mounting.

The sheets are acid-free, ensuring that your artwork remains structurally sound and resistant to yellowing over time.

The vellum surface features a distinct, fine texture that creates optimal friction for dry media. This physical profile allows artists to layer and blend pencils, charcoal, or pastels efficiently while standing up well to repeated erasure.

Our Rating

We recommend that this pad is perfect for most dry techniques and works especially well with pens & pencils. Because it is 270gsm (100lb) it is a heavyweight paper but still wouldn't take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper will easily buckle. We would suggest any dry medium, however pens, pencils and sketching materials will be the best with this product.
