Each page is 190gsm — robust enough to handle detailed pencil, charcoal, pastel, and pen work without ghosting or bleed-through.

The Hahnemühle Nostalgie Sketch Pad features a glued top-edge binding for easy page removal and a clean, professional finish. The cover has a traditional, vintage-inspired design that reflects the heritage of the Hahnemühle brand. Sheets are perforated for neat, tear-out removal — ideal for framing or sharing finished work. We recommend that this paper is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with pens and pencils. It is a mid weight paper and may not take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper could potentially buckle. That being said, it can be used with light watercolour works and inks. We would suggest any dry medium, however pens, pencils, charcoal and other sketching materials will work best on this surface.
