Daler Rowney Mixed Media Artboards are made with 10 sheets of Daler Rowney Mountboard. The Artboard Pad contains 10 sheets that have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. Each board is 1.4mm in depth. The Art board is available in both A4 and A3 sizing and the mixed media paper is slightly rough in texture and white in colour.

The Daler Rowney Mixed Media Artboard pad is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the board. The cover is paperback and is easy to quickly open and close. The bind is glued, additionally it has an easy tear mechanic so each sheet can be easily removed without ruining the board; and can also open-flat. This pad is thick and a great accessory if you are wanting to make work on the move and is a great pad for any artist at any level.

We recommend that this sketchbook is perfect for dry art techniques and certain wet work would be suitable. We would suggest that the pad works especially well with inks, pastels and pencils. Because it is a piece of board it is a heavy weight work surface and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the board won't easily buckle. We would suggest any dry medium, however inks and sketching materials work best.
