Pink Pig Ameile Watercolour and Mixed Media Sketchbooks are made with paper from their luxury Paper Mill'' and are based in Barnsley, England. The sketchbook contains 25 pages of (pure) virgin long grain fibres that are acid-free, high-quality and FSC approved. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. Each page is 270gsm which can be used for Mixed Media and Watercolour work. The paper is smooth in texture and white in colour.

The Pink Pig Ameile is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is hardback and is useful as a portable work surface. The bind is spiral, additionally it has a perforated edge so each page can be easily removed without ruining the sheet; and can also open-flat. This sketchbook is slightly thick and a great accessory if you are on the go and is a great pad for any artist at any level.

We recommend that this sketchbook is perfect for mixed media techniques and works especially well with inks, watercolours, pens and pencils. Because it is 270gsm it is a very heavy weight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any medium, however inks, watercolours and sketching materials work best.
