The Winsor & Newton Pastel Pads are a high quality coloured paper. It is acid-free meaning it will not yellow over time, and is also archival. The paper is 160gsm so it can be used with layers of pastels easily. With the papers light grain on one side, and smoother texture on the other, it allows for a varied finish. This also allows for other dry techniques to be used such as charcoal, pencils, and pen. This pad is available in A4 & A3.

Details

Winsor & Newton Pastel Paper Pads contain 24 sheets of pastel paper with a high cotton content in earth tones. Its surface is well-sized and has a fine-grained texture on one side, with a smoother finish on the other.

This paper is Acid-Free, Archival and Non-Yellowing.

Available in A4 or A3 sizes. Each pad is gummed on a short edge in portrait format.

This pad contains 24 sheets of pastel paper in Earth Tones. There are 6 colours with 4 sheets each. The paper is also 160GSM in weight.

This pastel paper delivers exceptional strength and permanence due to its high cotton content. The sized, fine-grain surface is ideal for holding pastel pigment from both oil and soft pastels. Pastel Paper is most recommended for use with oil and soft pastels, but can also be used with charcoal, coloured pencils, pen and any mediums that emphasise shading and highlighting techniques.
