Daler-Rowney Jumbo Aquafine Pads are made and produced with fine art watercolour papers. The pad contains 50 sheets of Calcium Carbonate Buffered Paper,  the sheets have a neutral pH size which makes them genuinely acid-free. Each page is 300gsm (140lb) which is designed to be used with Watercolours. The paper is white in colour and comes in two textures. Not Press (Textured) & Hot Press (Smooth). Each sheet has been internally & externally sized and is designed mainly as a “dry” watercolour pad. 

Daler-Rowney Aquafine Pads are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is paperback, easy to remove and acts more as a basic cover for the paper. The pad is glued on one side which can also open-flat. This pad is thick and a great accessory if you are interested in trying Watercolour and is a great pad for any artist at any level. Available in A3 & A4 sizing. 

We recommend that this pad is perfect for watercolour, wet in wet techniques and works especially well with inks and watercolours. Because it is 300gsm (140lb) it is a midweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any wet medium, however pastels and sketching materials will work also.
