Seawhite Pads are made within the UK. The pad contains 20 sheets of high-quality paper that have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. Each page is 225gsm thick. This medium-weight pad is a normal watercolour weight that will allow for light washes and general watercolour use.

The paper is Not (Cold Pressed) in texture and white in colour. The Seawhite Plein Air Sketchbook is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is hardback with a spiral bind that can open-flat. This pad is fairly thick and a great accessory for anyone looking to explore the world of outdoor (plein air) painting.

The paper inside these pads are mid-heavyweight making them extremely durable and resistant to breakage or tearing whilst in use. It’s intended use is with wet media as its weight, durability and internal sizing give it the ability to work with watercolours, gouache and acrylics without any risk of damage to the pad. Its surface has a Not texture giving the artist a measure of texture without having too much. Excellent as an outdoor sketchbook as it is lightweight to hold, easy to grip and perfect for all manner of urban sketching techniques.
