Daler Rowney FW Mixed Media Canvases are made using High Quality Materials. The canvas itself is made from 100% cotton and has been Triple-Primed meaning it can be worked on without any prep required. These canvases differ from standard artist canvas due to their rigid backing. Behind the canvas is a fairly thick piece of board that acts as a support and provides a stable surface to work on. 

The canvas is suitable for all mixed media techniques including traditional and abstract painting. Its backing means pens and markers work well on its surface as there is a support to draw onto. The backing also makes these canvases perfect for screenprinting & pouring techniques, as they were originally designed as a pouring canvas. 

These Canvases come in 4 sizes with different quantities in each pack as follows:

10 x 8 inch (6 canvases per pack)

12 x 9 inch (5 canvases per pack)

16 x 12 inch (4 canvases per pack)

An excellent all round work surface that excels with all forms of mixed media working. Its rigid backing gives it support for pouring and screen printing works, as well as pen and marker working too. The canvas itself is 100% cotton meaning traditional art techniques such as oil and acrylic can be done on this surface to great effect. Excellent for a beginner as the backing board provides support when learning painting for the first time.
