Khadi Bhutanese Dyed De-Kar Papers are made using high-quality materials within Bhutan. These papers are handmade and made from the bark of De-Kar, a high growing variety of Lokta. Each page is 60gsm which can be used for Ink work and calligraphy. The paper is smooth, and comes in one colour, an off pink tone. 

Khadi Bhutanese Papers are deckle-edge which provides a rough edge to the paper. However due to these papers being natural they may have slight variations in cut and edge. The paper is sustainably made and has been dried using the Japanese teppan-kanso system, sheets are 31 x 46 c.m in size and can be bought in packs of 3.

We recommend that Bhutanese Papers are perfect for Ink work and calligraphy and works especially well with wetter mediums. Because it is 60gsm it is a lightweight paper and wouldn't work well with overly wet media. The paper has not been designed to work with wet media and is designed as more of a sketchers work surface. We think this paper is perfect for things such as pen and ink works or calligraphy.
