Van Gogh Watercolour Pads contain 12 pages of Black Watercolour Paper and are designed to be used with watercolours & gouache primarily. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. The paper has a slight textured finish giving the surface a nice amount of feel, the paper is Cold Pressed or (Not) in texture. Available in one weight at 360gsm (140lbs).

Van Gogh Watercolour Pads are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. A high quality, acid-free, pad that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper is designed to be used with watercolours & gouache, perfect for most wet working techniques. 

The pad is available in A4 & A3 sizing and contains 12 individual sheets. The pads are available in a glue bind, with the paper being glued on the top side for immediate wet working. The paper is black in colour, giving it unparalleled ability when working with iridescent or interference colours. 

We recommend that this paper is perfect for wet art techniques and works especially well with watercolours. It is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t buckle or break. That being said, it can also be used with oil and soft pastels. We would suggest any wet medium, however pens, pencils, charcoal and other sketching materials will work too on this surface.
